Exhibits must be entered on Friday, June 25th, 2021 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Exhibit Hall, located at 506 West Drive on the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds. Judging and tasting will take place on Saturday, June 26 beginning at 9:00 am. Exhibits maybe picked up after award presentation on Saturday at 10:30 am.
Use Standard canning jars only, none smaller than ½ pint.

· So Easy To Preserve
All entries must be labeled as to CONTENT, PROCESSING METHOD, and PROCESSING TIME. Label should be taped to back of jar.
· Watermelon Preserves
· Pressure Canner
· 25 Minutes
Entries must have been canned between May 2020 and June 2021. There will be five divisions:
1.) Sweet Watermelon Rind Preserves
2.) Savory Watermelon Rind Preserves
3.) Watermelon Jelly/Jam
Entries must include either 2 pint jars or 3 half pints. One will be used for judging and the other for tasting. Judging will take place between 9:00-9:30 followed by public tasting.
Prizes include $50 in Melon Money to Best of Show and $25 in Melon Money to the first place winner in each category. And the most unique entry will receive $10 in Melon Money!
Judge officials observe the right to disqualify entries of poor quality or incorrect processing times.
